Contracts on Complete Industrial Plants
The contracts for complete industrial plants present the largest scope of contract agreements, especially because close relationship of building work and technology deliveries. Base documents for the contract negotiations usually are FIDIC, possibly also AIA, delivery conditions. In case of tenders organized by foreign consultants adherence to different contract conditions – for example VOB and FIDIC at the same time - may be required.
Our evaluation and analysis of these conditions during tender proceedings can in many cases help a contractor to eliminate some contract risks with regard to construction abroad that is based on fundamentally different contractual and delivery conditions.
